The highly efficient German designed Phocos Eco 16 MPPT solar charge controller is ideal for most marine solar panel systems and smaller caravan solar panel systems. It can keep batteries topped up and run small appliances like fridges, fish finders, and that all-important flat-screen TV.
Because of its small size and highly waterproof characteristics, it can be mounted close to the battery allowing for minimal cabling losses.
It can withstand up to 250 Watts or solar power for 12 Volt systems and 500 Watts for 24 Volt systems.
The solar panel can be easily mounted to a bimini or a boat cover using canvas to canvas stay-put fasteners. For a low price, you can have peace of mind in keeping those expensive batteries topped up all year long.
