The Enerdrive | Dometic B-TEC G2 lithium battery is available in multiple capacities, including 12V 100Ah, 125Ah, 200Ah, 300Ah, and 400Ah, as well as 24V 150Ah and 36V 100Ah. It is designed for deep cycle applications where a single battery is required to meet the desired amp-hour capacity.

Smart Phone Monitoring System

The B-TEC G2 battery features wireless Battery Monitoring Technology. By downloading the Android™ or Apple® app to your smartphone or tablet, you can monitor vital information such as battery capacity, voltage, current (amps), state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), individual cell voltage, temperature, cycles, alarms, and events.

The battery also incorporates an internal Battery Management System (BMS). This system monitors and optimizes each prismatic cell within the battery during normal operation, ensuring protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-temperature, and short circuit conditions. The BMS ensures safe and reliable battery operation. Users should note that a fully discharged battery requires charging within 14 days to avoid cell damage, as the BMS will switch off.

Size and Weight Savings (Lithium vs. AGM)

The B-TEC lithium battery is significantly lighter and smaller compared to AGM batteries, offering additional usability benefits. It provides 60% more usable power while being nearly 50% lighter and 30% smaller than its AGM counterpart. For instance:

• 100Ah lithium offers the power of 160Ah AGM.
• 125Ah lithium equals 200Ah AGM.
• 200Ah lithium equals 320Ah AGM.
• 300Ah lithium equals 480Ah AGM.

These comparisons are based on the standard depth of discharge for lithium (80%) and AGM (50%).

Built-In Reset Button

The G2 battery now includes a built-in reset button, making it easy to restart a flat battery. With the press of the button, the battery will come back to life within seconds, ready to accept a charge source. This eliminates the need to apply an external voltage to the terminals to wake up the battery.

Ideal Applications

The Enerdrive B-TEC battery is suitable for camper trailers, 4WDs (as an auxiliary battery), caravans, small watercraft, low-power communication sites, or any application requiring a single deep-cycle battery to meet its amp-hour capacity.

Paralleling B-TEC Batteries

The B-TEC battery can be paralleled to a second B-TEC battery of the same size. However, for maximum performance and lifespan, no more than four batteries should be connected together to increase capacity. When paralleled, overall loads must not exceed the current limits of a single battery’s BMS. For example, the 100Ah G2 battery supports a maximum inverter capacity of 1000W. Exceeding this limit may damage the BMS.

For larger energy requirements, consider the Enerdrive Pro Series Power Pack Systems, which allow multiple parallel and series connections with Active Cell Balancing Protection across the entire pack.

Installation Guidelines

The Enerdrive B-TEC battery is designed for internal use only. It must not be installed in the following conditions:

• In vehicle engine bays or high-heat environments.
• In wet areas, such as caravan chassis mounts, open ute trays, or boat deck areas.
• Inside compartments dedicated to carrying gas.

This product should not be exposed to the elements, as it is an electronic product intended strictly for internal use.
