Inverters

Pure sine wave inverters from Victron, TBS and Enerdrive, 250 VA to 6000 W, for 12, 24 and 48 V systems. Size the inverter to your largest appliance and leave headroom for anything with a motor or compressor, which surges well above its rated watts on start-up.

If you also plug into shore power or a generator and want the batteries charged from it, choose an inverter/charger instead. Inverters draw heavy DC current, so size the battery cable and fuse for the DC side and keep the run short. For a system sized for you, use the AnyKit™ designer or email technical@luxsolar.co.nz.
