The Victron Multi RS 48/6000/100-50 230V is a lightweight, high-frequency 6 kVA inverter/charger for stationary and mobile systems on a 48 V battery bank. It combines an inverter, 88 A battery charger and 50 A transfer switch in one 11.2 kg unit.
It's the non-solar version of the Multi RS Solar, so there are no built-in solar chargers. Add the solar that suits your system instead.

Please note: the Multi RS is not recommended for marine or coastal installations.
Key features
- 6 kVA with strong surge power: 4600 to 5200 W continuous at 25 °C depending on battery voltage, and 9 kW peak for 3 seconds to handle start-up surges
- Backup, off-grid and generator modes: switches to battery power during a grid outage, runs with no grid connection at all, or controls a generator to keep its run-hours down
- PowerControl & PowerAssist: set a maximum grid or generator current and the Multi RS reduces charging to stay under it, then adds battery power when loads peak
- 88 A battery charger: charges your 48 V bank from grid or generator, with a battery temperature sensor included
- Two AC outputs: a second output for non-critical loads runs straight from the AC input, so those loads don't drain the battery during an outage
- Add solar your way: pair it with SmartSolar MPPT chargers on the DC side, or a PV inverter of any type or size on the AC output, with its power controlled automatically
- Display, Bluetooth and remote monitoring: see every reading on the built-in display or in the VictronConnect app, with trend history, quick firmware updates and easy setup. Connect a GX device such as the Cerbo GX for system monitoring and data logging.
- Three-phase capable: use one unit per phase for a three-phase supply. Parallel operation isn't supported.
