The Victron MultiPlus 48/20k/250-100 230V combines a 20 kW inverter, 250 A battery charger and 100 A transfer switch in one unit, built for large off-grid, backup and marine power systems on a 48 V battery bank.

Key features
- 20 kW continuous at 25 °C, 25 kW peak: enough for whole-home and light commercial loads from a single unit
- Uninterrupted AC power: if the grid or generator drops out, the 100 A transfer switch moves your loads to the inverter in under 20 milliseconds, so computers and electronics keep running
- Two AC outputs: the main output stays on through an outage, and a second output is live only while AC input is present, for loads like a water heater that shouldn't drain the battery
- 250 A battery charger: charges large lithium and lead-acid banks quickly from grid or generator
- PowerControl & PowerAssist: set a maximum grid or generator current and the MultiPlus reduces charging to stay under it, then adds battery power when loads peak
- Works with solar: compatible with MPPT solar charge controllers and grid-tie PV inverters
- Parallel and three-phase capable: combine units for more power, or use three for a three-phase supply. An external AC transfer switch is recommended for parallel systems.
- Monitoring and configuration: add a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX for free remote monitoring and setting changes through VRM, or configure on site with VEConfigure (MK3-USB) or Bluetooth (VE.Bus Smart dongle)
