About the power rating. Victron rates this inverter in VA (apparent power) — the engineering rating that describes what the hardware can deliver, regardless of what you plug in. We show both VA and continuous watts in each variant title so you can compare like-for-like with watt-rated inverters. For resistive loads (heaters, kettles, lighting), VA and continuous watts are effectively the same. For motors, fridges, pumps and switch-mode loads, size against the continuous W at 25 °C figure in the spec table below. Why VA, not watts? Read our guide →
With inbuilt AU/NZ Socket (AS/NZS 3112)
Victron Energy Phoenix inverters convert the DC power from your battery bank to clean 230 V AC so you can run domestic appliances when off-grid.
The Victron Phoenix range is suitable for the widest range of applications. Pure sine wave output, optimised efficiency, and the proven full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology — a top-quality inverter in a compact, lightweight package, capable of supplying power problem-free to any load.
The VE.Direct port can be connected to a computer via an optional VE.Direct to USB interface cable, or to a smartphone, tablet or MacBook via an optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle. This lets you monitor input and output voltage and current alarms, and configure: low-voltage alarm trip and reset levels, low-voltage cut-off and restart levels, output voltage 210–245 V, frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz, ECO mode on/off, and ECO mode sense level.
