A non-polarised DC circuit breaker that protects your wiring and gives you a manual isolation point for your system — ideal for caravan, motorhome, marine and off-grid solar setups, including installations mounted inside the boat or van.
Fit it between the solar panel and the charge controller, or between the charge controller and the battery. Because it's non-polarised it works regardless of current direction, so there's no positive or negative terminal to get wrong.

Which rating do I need?
As a guide, size the breaker at 1.5 to 2.4 times the short-circuit current (Isc) of your solar array, and make sure it trips below the rated current of the cable you are using. Choose a single-pole breaker to switch one conductor, or a dual-pole breaker to switch both positive and negative together.
