Batteries

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) deep cycle batteries from SOK, Victron, Enerdrive and Pylontech, from 12 V caravan and boat batteries up to 48 V modular banks for a house or bach. Lithium takes a deeper discharge, charges faster and lasts far longer per dollar than lead-acid or AGM.

Two things decide the choice: your system voltage (12 V for most caravans and boats, 24 V for larger inverters, 48 V for houses), and whether you want the battery management built in (SOK, SuperPack, B-TEC and rack batteries) or external (Victron Smart and NG).
